Venereology
Afrodisiology is the specialised branch of medicine concerned with the diagnosis, prevention, management and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Warts
Warts are small, benign growths that appear on the skin or mucous membranes of the genital and perianal areas. They are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).

Gonorrhoea
Gonorrhoea is a sexually transmitted infection caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae. It can affect people of any age, but is particularly common amongst teenagers and young adults.

Vaginitis
Vaginitis is an inflammation or infection of the vagina. It can cause itching, pain, discharge and an unpleasant odour. Vaginitis is common, particularly among women of reproductive age.

Herpes
Genital herpes is a common sexually transmitted infection caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1 and HSV-2). It is characterised by painful blisters.

Infectious termite
It is a very common, benign viral skin infection that mainly affects children aged between 1 and 10 years. It is highly contagious but is not dangerous and does not affect general health.

Balanoposthitis
Balanoposthitis is an inflammation of the glans penis and the foreskin (the skin covering it). Its main symptoms include redness, pain and swelling in the area.
